Here are some resources for employers interested in hiring people with ASD or those who already have! I hope you find them helpful. Please let me know if there is anything else specific you would like to know and I will see if I can find the answer for you!
No Greatness Without Goodness: How a Father’s Love Changed a Company and Sparked a Movement by Randy Lewis, Retired Walgreens Sr. VP – I think the title is a little misleading. This book is actually a fairly detailed description of how Lewis and his team developed over 1000 jobs at Walgreens for individuals with disabilities. I don’t know how interesting it is to the average reader, but I found the parts about the problems they faced and their creative solutions to be fascinating.
Autism Speaks Employer’s Guide – To be honest, this is does not have as much information as I would like, but it is a good start.
Talent Acquisition Portal – A national website for posting jobs for individuals with disabilities. I will look into it more, but I believe each state (usually the state’s vocational rehabilitation agency) manages the postings from their state, but I am not sure.
